5000kW is the average power consumption of a four person-household. The costs for a voltaic system including initiation costs are about 25.000 Euro (incl. VAT). The actual compensation in 2011 for electricity fed into the grid is 34 cents per kW. Thus, you earn 1700 Euro per year with your photovoltaic system. This is a monthly additional income of 142 Euro.
